Jalani Kumkum

The traditional Kumkum or Kunkumam (In Tamil) is made from dried turmeric. The dried turmeric powder mix with Natural water without any chemical to make rich red colored Kumkum or Roli. Kumkum, which is made from the turmeric powder, is an auspicious symbol. First turmeric wood is grinded into turmeric powder than mix water.  After mixing water we keep it in the sunlight for dryness of this powder at least two days. Then turmeric powder color is naturally changed yellow to Red. It results in pure Jalani Kumkum.

“Red is the sign of Shakti (Energy) and kumkum is made out of dried turmeric. which has properties to retain energy in the body. The position of the kumkum at forehead between the eyebrows is also logical that it is one of the important chakras of our body. Hence when we keep kumkum we keep our energy level high.

Jalani kumkum is pure turmeric(red) powder. Jalani Kumkum Powder is put one the center part of the forehead as bindi or teeka. Jalani Kumkum not gives side effect on skin like burn, stress, fuse and color.
